- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped walnuts

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350° and grease a loaf pan. Cream butter and sugar together. Add one egg at a time, beating until smooth. Blend in mashed bananas. In second bowl, stir flour with baking soda, baking powder, salt and nuts. Add to banana mixtures, stirring only enough to moisten. Transfer to loaf pan and bake one hour (inserted toothpick should come out clean). Allow to cool in pan for 10 minutes, then remove from pan to complete cooling.
