Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon dried damiana leaves
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2 ounces single-malt Scotch, not too smoky
- 2 teaspoons raspberry preserves
- 1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
- Citrus zest strips, rose petals or raspberries, for garnish.

Preparation
Step 1
1. Add the damiana and sugar to 1/2 cup boiling water. Cover for 2 minutes, strain and refrigerate until cool.
2. Measure 3 ounces of the damiana tea into a cocktail shaker. (Cover and refrigerate the remainder for another use.) Add the Scotch, preserves and lemon juice with two big handfuls of ice and shake vigorously. Strain over ice into a Cognac snifter or an Old-Fashioned glass. Add the garnish of your choice.
