Ingredients
- Cake:
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 3/4 cup applesauce
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2/3 cup chopped nuts
- Frosting:
- 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 tsp vanilla
- 3-4 Tbsp milk

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease and flour plan. In large bowl, combine first ten ingredients (butter through vanilla). Beat at medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl often. Stir in raisins and nuts. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake 20-25 minutes, until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Remove from pan; cool. In small bowl, blend frosting ingredients until smooth. Drizzle over cakes. Makes 6 cakes.
