- 2 lb young asparagus, trimmed
- 1 gallon salted boiling water
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp soy sauce

Step 1
Place asparagus in a heat proof colander in the sink. Pour boiling water over to blanch. Mix together the oil, garlic and soy sauce. Toss with asparagus and grill asparagus over medium hot coals until tender, about 3 minutes.
