Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup dried cherries
- or add 2 cups of any mixture you prefer of the following coconut, chocolate chips, nuts, seeds, and dried fruit

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 350.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
3. In the bowl of a mixer cream together the butter and honey until light and fluffy.
4. Add the egg and vanilla and mix to combine.
5. Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet and mix until just combined.
6. Fold in raisins, walnuts, sunflower seeds, chocolate chips, and dried cherries.
7. Using a small scoop drop the dough onto Silat or parchment lined sheets. Gently press the dough down into disks. (They won't spread during baking)
8. Bake until golden brown about 12 ,minutes.
9. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
