  • 1 flank steak from Tarini's
  • required amount of bottled Teriyaki sauce (the kind you buy at Homesence - or, if you can't get that, a homemade one with some body to it and hot pepper flakes)

Step 1

Put the meat in the freezer for about an hour to make slicing easier. Slice meat with the grain as thin as possible.Place the meat in a large bowl and toss with enough sauce to fully saturate.Transfer to a large ziplock bag and refrigerate for at least 24 and up to 48 hours.Remove the beef from the bag and drain in a collander for about 30 minutes, then spread on dehydrator trays. Dry, rotating trays every 2 hours or so, until done, about ? hours.Store on the fridge in a ziplock bag or a plastic or glass container with a tight-fitting lid.
