Ingredients
- 1-1/3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup plus 2 Tbls. packed brown sugar - divided
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans
- 2 Tbls. margarine - melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp salt

Step 1
In small bowl mix well flour and 2 Tbls. brown sugar. With fingers work in 1/2 cup butter until dough begins to hold together. Press onto bottom of greased 9" square pan. Bake in preheated 350 degrees oven 12 to 15 minutes or until just firm.
In medium bowl lightly beat 1/2 cup brown sugar and eggs; add corn syrup, pecans, melted butter, vanilla and salt. Mix well. Pour over crust.
Bake 25 minutes or until edges are lightly brown. Cool in pan on rack.
