Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup mild
- 2 cups quick oats
- 1 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Coat a 8x8x2 inch baking pan wiht nonstick cooking spray; set aside
2. In a small bowl, whisk flour, baking powder and salt together. In a large bowl, beat sugar and butter on medium-high speed until fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Reduce speed to low and beat in milk, then flour mixture. Stir in oats and 1 cup of the chocolate chips.
3. Spread batter into prepared baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack. Microwave remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips for 30 seconds; stir until smooth and drizzle over bars. Cut into squares.
