Simple Meat Loaf

Ingredients

• Glaze:
• 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
• 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
• 1 onion, peeled and chopped
• 1 egg
• 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 4 ounces tomato sauce
• 12 ounces tomato sauce
• 1/2 cup water
• 3 tablespoons vinegar
• 3 tablespoons brown sugar
• 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
• 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Preparation

Step 1

PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees. Combine all meat loaf ingredients in a large bowl. Shape into rectangle in a shallow baking dish.

COMBINE glaze ingredients and pour over the meat loaf.

BAKE for 1 hour 15 minutes, basting occasionally.
