Stuffed Green Peppers
- 1 pd ground beef
- 1/2 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1 cup water
- 6 peppers
- 2 (8oz) tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp Worchestershire Sauce
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Preheat oven 350
Place rice and water in saucepan & boil, reduce heat & cover n cook 20 minutes.
Remove seeds from peppers and arrange on baking dish
Mix beef with rice mixture, 1 can tomato sauce, Worchestershire sauce, garlic, onion, & salt and pepper. Spoon mixture into peppers.
Mix remaining tom sauce and italian seasoning & pour over peppers.
Bake 1 hour basting every 15 minutes.
