Gooey Surprise Cakes

Ingredients

• Topping:
• 1 box yellow cake mix
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
• 1 stick butter, melted
• 1 8 oz. package cream cheese
• 1 box confectioners sugar
• 2 eggs, lightly beaten
• 8 oz. chocolate chips
• 8 oz. coconut
• 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13" pan. Mix first 3 ingredients together and spread to all edges of prepared pan. Cream together cream cheese, sugar and eggs. Add chocolate chips, coconut and pecans. Spread this mixture over cake mix mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until browned around edges.
