Ingredients

  • Frosting:
  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 Tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz) bag miniature marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4 Tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 Tablespoons oil
  • 3 Tablespoons margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1-1/2 cups powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
Add sifted dry ingredients and nuts. Spread in a 10x15 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 10 10 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and cover with marshmallows. Return
to oven for 3 minutes until marshmallows are soft. Drizzle frosting over the top.

Frosting: Bring the first 4 ingredients to a boil and boil for 3 minutes. Add margarine and vanilla. Cool a bit then beat in powdered sugar.
