Ingredients

    Lbs. MEAT, ground for meat loaf (beef, veal, pork, etc.)

  • 1/2

    Cup WHOLE WHEAT SALTINES, crushed

  • 1

    Envelope ONION DIP/SOUP MIX

  • 1

    Tbsp. WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE

  • 1/4

    cup GREEN BELL PEPPERS, diced

  • 1/2

    Cup EVAPORATED MILK, undiluted

  • 2

    EGGS, slightly beaten

  • 1 1/2

    Tbsp. LEMON JUICE

  • 1/4

    tsp. SALT

  • 1/4

    tsp. PEPPER

  • 1/2

    Cup BBQ SAUCE, divided

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine all ingredients except for 1/4 Cup of the BBQ SAUCE, & pack firmly into a 9"x5"x3" loaf pan. Invert in shallow pan; remove loaf pan. Pour remaining 1/4 Cup BBQ SAUCE over top (optional). Bake for 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Allow to stand a few minutes before slicing. Refrigerate any leftovers.
