Ingredients

  • 1-lg. (6oz) Box Jello (any flavor)
  • 1- 16 oz. cool whip
  • 1- 16 oz. sour cream
  • Optional
  • 1-11 oz can mandarin oranges( in pear juice)chopped into small pieces
  • 1- 8 oz. can crushed pineapple
  • 1 - bag of mini marshmallows (white or flavored)

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare jello until almost firm (use quick set method)
Refrigerate until water is set ( apx. 15 min.)
Combine cool whip and sour cream. Combine with jello. Mix until well blended.

If you desire the fruit:
Drain juice from oranges and pineapple, combine with cool whip and sour cream mixture, stir in jello until well blended. Add marshmallows (saving some to place on top.

You can use any type of fruit or nuts.

If using the "quick set" method, you will need to work quickly before the Jello sets too much.

Prepare the fruit before mixing the Jello, when using the "quick set" method.
