Turkish Pizza. I got this recipe from a German friend who adapted it to her tastes.
- 1 lb Ground Meat (pork, chicken, beef)
- 1 680 ml can Tomato Sauce
- 1 Green Pepper, minced very fine
- 1 Red Pepper, minced very fine
- 1 7 oz can Tomato Paste
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 1 Tbsp Salt
- Pepper to taste
- Cayenne Pepper to taste
- 1/2 bunch Parsley
- Pizza Dough
Cooking time 10mins
Mix all ingredients together except pizza dough.
Roll out bun sized amounts of dough into a thin circle. Spread filling over the dough. Bake 10 minutes at 500 degrees F.
Add salad (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers) and fold in half. Enjoy!
Tzatziki sauce also tastes amazing as a topping.
