Shrimp and Vermicelli Casserole

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, divided
- 1 cup thinly sliced green onions
- 5 tablespoons flour
- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup clam juice
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 cup rated parmesan cheese, divided
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 8 oz. vermicelli
- 4 cups cooked and peeled extra-large shrimp

Preparation
Step 1
Cook vermicelli al dente according to package directions. Drain well.
Combine cooked pasta with sauce, mushroom mixture and shrimp. Mix gently. Spoon into a lightly greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Top with remaining 1/4 cup parmesan cheese.
Bake, uncovered, in a preheated 375 degree oven 30 minutes or until bubbly.
