- 1 1 1 cup white whole wheat flour
- 1 1 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 1 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 1 1 cup buttermilk

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, oil and milk.
Fold the mix ins into the batter. You can even separate the batter and make two types of muffins.
Pour batter into greased or lined muffin cups and bake for 20 minutes for regular size muffins, or 15 minutes for mini muffins, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
