- 2.5 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 2 t unsalted butter
- 1/3 c whipping cream
- 4 t unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 t vanilla
- 1/8 t salt
- 1 − 2" long cinnamon stick

Preparation
Step 1
1. In bowl, combine chocolate & butter; set aside.
2. In saucepan, cook & stir whipping cream over medium heat until bubbles form around edge of pan.
3. Whisk in cocoa powder, vanilla & salt.
4. Add cinnamon stick. Pour chocolate mixture over it; stir until mixture is smooth & shiny. Remove cinnamon stick.
6. Cover; set aside @ room temperature until thickened, or cover & chill overnight. Let stand @ room temperature 30 minutes or until softened before using.
