Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 sliced medium onion
  • 5 cups of water
  • 2 1/2 cups sliced carrots
  • 1/4 cup long grain rice
  • 2 T chicken bouillon
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Chopped parsley

Preparation

Step 1

1. Melt butter. Add onions. Saute until tender.
2. Add water, carrots rice and bouillon.
3. Cover and simmer 20-25 minutes.
4. Spoon into a blender carefully and puree.
5. Add spices.
