Ingredients

  • 1 large friers or 6 lb. hen (some broth)
  • 2 large peppers - chopped
  • 2 large onions - chopped
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 - 7 oz. package vermicelli
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes
  • 2 Tbs. worchestershire
  • 1 box velveeta - 1 lb.
  • 1 can tiny green peas
  • 1 large can mushroom stems & pieces

Preparation

Step 1

Cook chicken & save 1 1/2 qts. broth. Saute onions & pepper. Cook vermicelli in broth. Add Rotel - mash, tomatoes. Add worchestershire & cook 5 minutes. Add drained peas & mushrooms, onion & pepper. Add cheese cut up in hunks. Stir until cheese melts. Add cut-up chicken & stir thoroughly. Put in 2 large or 3 small casseroles. Cook 45 minutes at 350º.

Freezes well.
