Ingredients
- butter
- chopped onions
- dried oregano
- canned chopped tomatoes
- minced garlic
- tomato juice
- tomato paste
- brown sugar
- balsamic vinegar (to taste)
- dried thyme
- chicken stock
- heavy cream
Preparation
Step 1
Sauté onions and oregano in butter for 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Purée soup and serve.
