Ingredients
- 300 gr. (2 1/2 cups) flour
- 2 eggs + 2 yolks
- 150 gr. (1 1/2 cups) confectioner’s sugar
- 250 gr. (1 cup) butter
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- course granulated sugar
- egg whites for brushing

Preparation
Step 1
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add raw eggs one at a time and beat well. Stir in sieved egg yolks. Add flour. Chill. Roll small pieces of dough by hand into pencil-thin strings about 5 inches long. Weave two strings into wreath, pinching the ends together. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with course granulated sugar. Bake at 325 degrees F. for about 10 minutes.
