Ingredients
- 1 bag (32 oz.) frozen hashbrown potatoes (southern style)
- 1 pt. (16 oz.) sour cream (optional)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 2 c. crushed cornflakes
- 2 c. grated (shredded) cheese (1 c. cheddar & 1 c. mozzarella or 2 c. cheddar)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 sticks softened butter
Preparation
Step 1
Defrost potatoes overnite in refrigerator. Combine with 1 stick butter, salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream & cheese. Blend well.
Put in 9x13 pan.
Combine 1/2 stick melted butter with crushed cornflakes. Sprinkle over top.
Bake at 350 for 45 min. to 1 hour or until top is brown.
