Pizza Hut's Pizza Sauce

Will use my slow cooker - on Low 4 to 6 hours...

Ingredients

• 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce -will use "No salt added"
• 1/4 C. water
• 1 tsp. sugar
• 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
• 1/4 tsp. dried basil leaves
• 1/4 tsp. dried thyme
• 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• One eighth tsp. black pepper -will increase this amount
• 1 whole bay leaf
• 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
• Will double this recipe-possibly quadruple. Then freeze some portions to have ready when needed.

Step 1

1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.

2. Cook over medium heat until sauce starts to boil.

3. Lower heat and simmer, covered, for 30 to 45 minutes.
