Ingredients
- 6 cups beef broth
- 2 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- 2 teaspoons W Suace
- Croutons or grilled bread cubes
- Shredded Swiss cheese

Preparation
Step 1
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine beef broth, onions, mushrooms, almonds, butter, sherry and W sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until the onions are tender. Ladle the soup into 4 bowls. Top with croutons and cheese. Cook in microwave or under the broiler until the cheese melts.
