  • 1 pkg (6 squares) baker's bittersweet baking chocolate
  • 10 Tbs butter
  • 1 1/2 C powdered sugar
  • 1/2 C flour
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 3 eggs yolks

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425*. Grease 6 (6oz) custard cups or souffle dishes. Place on baking sheet.

Step 2

Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl on high 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Add powdered sugar and flour; mix well. Add whole eggs and egg yolks; stir with wire whisk until well blended. Divide battery evenly among prepared custard cups.

Step 3

Bake 14-15 minutes or until cakes are firm around the edges but soft in the centers. Let stand 1 minute. Run small knife around cakes to loosen. Immediately invert cakes onto serving plate. Sprinkle lightly with additional powdered sugar if desired. Cut each cake in half to serve

Makes 12 servings of 1 cake half each.
