Ingredients

  • 2 ounces dark cooking chocolate, melted
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 6 1/2 ounces white chocolate, melted
  • 4 ounces butter
  • 2/3 cup thick cream

Preparation

Step 1

Place chocolate in a small paper piping bag.

Step 2

Pipe chocolate in a swirling pattern over the inside surface of six dessert glasses. Place in refrigerator and allow to set.

Step 3

Using electric beaters, beat yolks, sugar, honey and blended coffee and water in a small bowl until very thick. Beat in white chocolate until smooth. In another bowl, beat butter with electric beaters until light and creamy. Add egg yolk mixture, beat until smooth. Transfer to medium bowl.

Step 4

Beat cream until soft peaks form. Using a metal spoon, gently fold cream into chocolate mixture. Spoon mixture into dessert glasses. Refrigerate 2-3 hours. Top with whipped cream.
