Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup plain yogurt (or buttermilk or sour cream)
- 1 1/2 cups very ripe bananas, hand mashed (approx 3 medium bananas)
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 to 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips

Step 1
1. Preheat the oven to 350° F. Spray-coat a 9 x 5 inch or 8 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pan with non-stick spray.
2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugars. Stir in eggs, vanilla, yogurt and mashed bananas, blending well.
3. Fold in the flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and chocolate chips.
4. Spoon the mixture into the loaf pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
5. Let cool 15 minutes before removing the bread from the pan.
