Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) I can't believe it's not butter
- 1 3/4 cups firmly packed dark
- brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups quick cooking oats
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 cup butterscotch morsels
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation
Step 1
In large bowl beat margarine & sugar until light & fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats & salt. Add alternately with water to creamed mixture. Stir in butterscotch morsels & nuts. Drop by heaping tsp. onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven 12 minutes until edges are lightly browned.
