Prunr Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup prune puree ( 12 prunes blitzed with 3 tsp hot water until smooth)
• 3 tbl butter (softened)
• 3/4 cup white sugar
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 cups whole wheat flour or 2 1/4 cup white flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Step 2

Line baking sheets with parchment paper

Step 3

In a large bowl beat puree, butter, both sugars , eggs and vanilla until smooth

Step 4

in a small bowl combine flour & baking soda

Step 5

Stir dry ingredients into wet and mix completely.

Step 6

Stir in chocolate chips

Step 7

Drop tsps of dough onto baking sheets and flatten slightly with a fork & milk

Step 8

bake 10 - 12 minutes until light brown around the edges

Step 9

transfer ti wire rack to cool

Step 10

store in air tight container or freezer.
