Ingredients
- 2 Tbs olive oil
- 1 Bulb fennel (quartered, cored and thinly sliced)
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 cloves garlic, grated
- 1 C dry white wine
- 14 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 2 C low-sodium seafood broth(substitute..chicken)
- 1/2 lb peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1/2 lb rinsed mussels
- 1/2 lb cod cut into 2 in pieces
- 1/4 C fresh flat parsley leaves, chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Heat olive oil in large pot on medium. Add fennel, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper; cook stirring occasionally, until tender, about 5-6 minutes. Stir in the garlic; cook 1 minute.
Step 2
Add dry white wine and simmer until reduced by half, 5 minutes. Stir in crushed tomatoes and seafood broth and return to a simmer.
Step 3
Add shrimp, mussels and cod. Simmer until fish and shrimp are opaque throughout and mussels have opened, 3-4 minutes.
Step 4
Sprinkle with parsley and serve with crusty bread.
