  • 12oz package thick cut bacon

Preparation

Step 1

1. Pre-heat oven to 325*
2. Combine 1/2 Cup brown sugar and 2 1/2 tsp gochugaru and spread on a plate.
3. Coat bacon in the sugar mixture, pressing each slice on both sides to adhere.
4. Lay the bacon on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake at 325*, rotating the pan and flipping the bacon halfway through, until the bacon is dark brown and caramelized, 30-40 minutes.
5. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds in both sides, then let cool completely to harden.
