Ingredients

  • 9-10 noodles uncooked
  • 2 jars pasta sauce (50 oz)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 3 c Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 15-16 oz Ricotta cheese
  • Browned Ground beef/turkey/sausage
  • Basil
  • Oregano
  • Italian seasoning
  • Garlic

Preparation

Step 1

Mix ricotta cheese, eggs, 1 c. Mozzarella

Step 2

Spread thin layer of sauce on bottom of 13x9 pan. Top with one layer of 5 noodles. Layer half the pasta sauce and diced tomatoes. Top with Ricotta mixture. Fill in gaps with Mozzarella and sprinkle with Parmesan, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning. Repeat layers starting with noodles.

Step 3

Cover. Bake 45-55 or until hot and bubbly. Uncover. Let stand 15 minutes.

Don’t boil the noodles. Lots of sauce is good.
