Ingredients

  • 1 14 oz bag of cubed stuffing- herb seasoned
  • 3 or 4 c. of broth ( 5 or more if doubled)
  • 1 stick margarine
  • green pepper
  • onion
  • celery
  • 1 apple- chopped finely
  • 1 carrot- chopped (optional)
  • 1 lb pork sausage

Preparation

Step 1

Brown sausage with the onion, celery and green pepper

Step 2

Heat ina separate pan the broth and margarine

Step 3

Add liquid to stuffing in a large container.

Step 4

Add chopped apple and carrot.

Step 5

Drain sausage well well and add to stuffing. Put in a large container, casserole or foil pan.

Step 6

Bake at least an hour at 350.

If doubling the recipe, keep sausage at 1 lb.
