Ingredients

  • 1- 14 oz bag of cubed stuffing (herb seasoned)
  • 3 of 4 c of broth (5 or more if double)
  • 1 stick margarine
  • green pepper
  • 1 onion
  • Celery- chopped
  • 1 apple- chopped finely
  • 1 carrot- chopped (optional)
  • 1 lb pork sausage

Preparation

Step 1

Brown 1 lb sausage with the onion, celery and green pepper. Heat in a separate pan the broth and margarine. Add liquid to stuffing in a large container. Add chopped apple and carrot. Drain sausage well and add to stuffing. Put in a large container, casserole or foil pan

Step 2

Bake at 350 for 1 hour or more

Step 3

If doubling the recipe, no need to double the sausage.
