  • 4 large pears
  • 1 1/4 cups + 4 Tablespoons
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup + 4 Tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 2 Tablespoons milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup + 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup Mimi chocolate cups dark

Preparation

Step 1

Pre-heat oven 350 F Greased and floured 9x18 pan
2. In a large bowl whisk together the flour,cocoa,baking powder,baking soda and salt
3. Mix together the yogurt and milk until combined,set aside
4. Peel,core and slice the pears.
5. In a large bowl beat on medium speed the eggs,vanilla and sugar until light and fluffy, approximately 5 minutes. Then slowly add the vegetable oil and beat to combine.
6. Alternatively add the dry ingredients with the yogurt mixture. Beat to combine,approximately one minute.
7. Pour into the prepared pan, top with pear slices (sliced side down). Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips. Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool then dust with powder sugar are icing sugar
