Ingredients
- 1/4 cup minced parsley
- 1 Tablespoon minced lemon zest
- salt and pepper to taste
- MELT:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup diced shallots
- 2 cloves finely chopped garlic
- STIR IN:
- 1/4 cup dry Marsala
- ADD:
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 16-20 ounces cheese-filled tortellini
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- OFF HEAT STIR IN:
- 2 cups cooked chopped chicken
- 3/4 cup Parmesan

Preparation
Step 1
Combine parsley and zest; season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Step 2
Melt butter in a saute pan over medium heat. Add shallots and garlic; saute until soft, 3-5 minutes.
Step 3
Stir in Marsala and cook until nearly evaporated.
Step 4
Add broth and bring to a boil. Add tortellini: cover and cook until al dente, about 7 minutes. Stir in cream, bring to a simmer, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Off heat, stir in chicken and parmesan. Garnish each serving with parsley mixture.
