Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 onion diced
- 1 whole red bell pepper
- (1) 14.5 oz petite diced tomatoes
- (1) 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
- 4 cups of beef broth (1 carton)
- 12 oz lasagna noodles
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup of parmesan cheese
- fresh basil

Preparation
Step 1
brown ground beef
Step 2
place ground beef in a 6 quart crock pot
Step 3
add diced onion, red bell pepper, pour in the crushed tomatoes and diced tomatoes.
Step 4
Add seasonings
Step 5
pour in the beef broth
Step 6
cover and cook on low for 5 -6 hours
Step 7
remove the lid and break the lasagna noodles into bite size peices and stir in.
Step 8
cover and cook on high for about 30 minuites until the noodles are soft
Step 9
spoon into bowls. Top with a tablespoon of ricotta cheese and a handfull of mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
Step 10
you can sprinkle freash basil on top
