Ingredients

  • 1 pkg of frozen hashbrowns ( they can be shredded. diced, have peppers in them any kind you want
  • 1 can of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can of milk ( just fill the empty soup can with milk
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8 oz ) container sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2

spray a 9 x 13 pan with nonstick spray

Step 3

take your frozen hashbrowns and break them up in the bag

Step 4

In large bowl combine the onion ( or whatever you want to include, ) 1 cup of cheese, the milk and the cream of chicken soup and sour cream, stir to combine.

Step 5

mix in the hash browns and stir to coat.

Step 6

pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Top with remaining cheese

Step 7

bake covered in preheated oven for 40 - 50 minutes. I take the foil off the last 10 to 15 minutes so the cheese gets nice and brown.
