Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs fresh Brussels sprouts
- 2 T unsalted butter
- 2 T olive oil
- 1 1/2 t salt
- 3/4 t pepper
- Optional: 1-2 T balsamic vinegar

Preparation
Step 1
Chop/slice Brussels sprouts to desired thickness.
Step 2
Heat butter and olive oil in a large saute' pan over medium to medium-high heat. Add in Brussels sprouts, salt and pepper and saute', stirring occasionally for 5 to 7 minutes, until crisp-tender and still bright green.
Step 3
Optional: Take the pan off the heat and stir in the balsamic vinegar.
