Ingredients

  • 2 packets of active dry yeast - 1/4 oz packets
  • 2 cups milk
  • 6 beaten eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 2-4 lbs of flour (mc had used close to 4 pounds)
  • walnuts (4 cups OR 3 lb+ bag if doubling recipe) - chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Warm milk and vanilla and yeast and then the eggs
Melt 1 lb butter. remove butter. Then rotate a little flour and milk mix to butter until a soft
non-stick dough as you mix with spoon.
Once dough is made, break into 2-3 pieces and wrap with cellophane (or parchment paper)and put into freezer. Remove from freezer couple hours+ before use. Roll thin flat in granulated sugar. cut into squares. add nuts and roll diagonally.
Bake 350 for 13-14 minutes
