Twix Bar Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 cups plus 2 T flour
• 1/2 tsp. baking soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 12 T unsalted butter, melted and cooled till warm
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1 large egg plus 1 yolk
• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 2 cups coarsely chopped twix bars

Preparation

Step 1

325. Combine flour, soda, salt. Blend butter and sugars together, beat in eggs, yolk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients until combined. Fold in twix. Bake 13-16 mins. till light golden and edges start to harden but soft in center. Do not over bake! Remove from pan, cool
