One Pot Spaghetti

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 1 C fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can chicken or beef broth (14 oz / 398 ml)
- 1 3/4 C water
- 1 can tomato paste (6 oz / 175 ml)
- 1 tsp dried oregano, crushed
- 1/2 tsp dried basil, crushed
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 6 oz dried spaghetti, broken
- parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
In a large saucepan, cook ground beef, mushrooms, onion and garlic until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain.
Stir in broth, water, tomato paste, oregano, basil and pepper. Bring to boil. Add broken spaghetti, a little at a time, stirring constantly. Return to boiling, reduce heat. Boil gently, uncovered, for 17 to 20 minutes or until spaghetti is tender. Serve with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.
