Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1 (4 ounce) bar semisweet chocolate, malted
  • 1 cup chopped salted peanuts

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. In a large bowl, combine butter, peanut butter, and sugars. Beat with an electric mixer until creamy. Beat in eggs.
3. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to peanut butter mixture, mixing well.
4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place on prepared baking sheet, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned. Let cool on wire racks. Drizzle with melted chocolate, and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.
