Ingredients

  • 8 oz pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp dark rum
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 3/4 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Place pecan in shallow baking pan in 300 degree oven for 15 minutes. Shake occasionally

Heat the butter, sugar, rum and nutmeg until hot. Stir to mix. Pour over hot pecans, stirring to coat.

Bake an additional 10-12 minutes. Remove from oven and place nuts on waxed paper to cool. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
