Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 to 4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 teas. salt
- 2 teas. baking powder
- vegetable oil
- confectioner's sugar

Step 1
Beat eggs; add milk and sugar. Sift together 2 cups all purpose flour, salt and baking powder. Combine dry ingredients with milk mixture in blender or food processor until smooth. Add 1 to 2 cups remaining flour to thicken batter. Batter should be a consisting to pass slowly thru funnel. Pour oil to 3/4 inch depth in 8 inch skillet and heat to 375. Pour 1/4 cup batter into funnel, holding finger over end until batter can be released into hot oil. Release batter in a lacey pattern into hot oil. Brown both sides. Drain, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
