    cups milk

  • 2

    eggs, beaten

  • 2

    cups flour

  • 2

    tsp baking powder

  • ½

    tsp salt

  • Powdered sugar


Combine milk and eggs. Add 1 1/2 cups flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. Add enough more flour to thicken but still be able to flow through funnel. Fill funnel with batter and make a spiral of batter in hot cooking oil in skillet. Oil should be 380 degrees. Brown on one side and turn over. After both sides are light brown, place on paper towel and dust with powdered sugar. Also very good used as strawberry shortcake, or with other fruit.
