Filling and Icing for Cinnamon Rolls

When making a few cinnamon rolls for Jack out of extra dough, use this filling and frosting recipe.

Ingredients
- Filling -
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar (light or dark)
- 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted or very soft
- Glaze -
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 -3 tablespoons water

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare filling:
Stir together 1 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 3 tablespoons cinnamon in small bowl. Brush dough with remaining butter. Sprinkle with sugar/cinnamon filling mixture.
To prepare glaze:
Mix ingredients with 2 tablespoons warm water.
If it is too thick, add additional warm water until it is thin enough to drop easily from a spoon over the warm-from-the-oven cinnamon rolls.
