Ingredients

  • 1/2

    c. margarine

  • 1/2

    c. crisco shortening

  • 1 1/2

    c. sugar

  • 2

    eggs

  • 2 3/4

    c. flour

  • 1

    t. creme of tartar

  • 1

    t. soda

  • 1/4

    t. salt

Directions

Blend margarine, shortening, and sugar. Blend in eggs. Sift flour, creme of tartar, soda and salt. Mix in to sugar mixture. Roll into balls 1" to 1 1/2" in size. Mix 1/2 cup sugar with 1 t. cinnamon. Roll balls into sugar mixture and bake at 375 for 10 minutes. Cool and freeze immediately in storage baggies. Cookies freeze and thaw well.
