Ingredients
- 12 C. sliced carrots
- 3 C. chopped onion
- 3 C. chopped celery
- 12 Tbs. butter
- 18 Tbs. flour
- 174 oz. chicken broth
- 15 1/5 C. cubed cooked chicken
- 1 lg. bag wild rice, prepared
- 1 1/2 C. half & half
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- basil and oregano as desired

Step 1
In a large saucepan, sauté the carrots, onion and celery in butter until tender. Stir in flour until blended; gradually add broth, basil and oregano. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Stir in the chicken, rice, cream, salt and pepper. Heat through.
